I want to preface this by saying I didn't purchase any alcohol to consume at the beer market. I wanted to bring back some fine Tennessee whiskey back to Chicago, but I didn't know stores would be closed on Sunday. Therefore, this was the only place open!Service was extremely friendly and helped me pick out some awesome beer to bring

This place is awesome! Great beer, great vibe, great dog and running culture, great owner. Hands down my favorite place to grab a beer in Knoxville.
Well I just moved to town, but I like this place cause it's walking distance from my new place. Beer Garden ourdoor style with games and interesting brews from various craft brewers.. and I like that you can pick up a 6 pack to take away as well. Been there 2x and both times, a food truck was on-site to satiate the hunger of the patr
The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because parking is HORRIBLE. Besides that, I love it! The beer is reasonably priced (especially compared to the price of going out back in Denver). The setup is a lot of fun and low key. Who doesn't love cornhole and giant jenga?
This whole 6.25% alcohol max on draft beer in Knoxville has to stop! That aside, I really dig the frat house set up here where young and old alike get down on a few frosty ones and some good ol' cornholin'. I also like the kid and pet friendliness. However, the parking sucks and the beer bros can be surly and not very knowledgeable a
This has been my go-to spot all year for beer in the Knoxville area. Constantly rotating selection, so if you like to try new beers (I do!), this is the place to do it! My first trip in, I bought a growler and have been refilling it here and there, always with a new and different IPA. The staff is super helpful, always down to earth,
Great rotating beer taps and great variety in bottles. Picture a ramshackle college dorm backyard and add abandoned garden center, with the occasional Pixies soundtrack going and you got it.
Parking is a serious problem here. I'm not that keen on beer generally, so I've never spent any time in the beer garden. I've seen it, certainly, en route to the store. Most of it is open-air; some portion is covered by an awning, providing protection from the rain. I suppose it's okay, and it doesn't have much competition in Knoxvil
My only knock here is that they didn't open up until I'd moved away from Knoxville. I really like the concept here. And whenever I go back they've added more to an already good thing. I particuarly like the idea of showing movies and UT games. We often go down when I'm in town. I always load up on some brews I can't find back in Mary
Arguably the most UNIQUE drinking venue in K-town. If you're a yuppy type, you probably won't like it. It's kind of like Oktoberfest meets a backyard barbecue with your old college crowd. Awesome selection of craft beers, super casual and incredibly diverse, interesting crowd, and outdoor, communal-table seating . . . always a blast.
5 stars -- love the outdoor patio area...love the Sweet & Savory truck too, for eats, when its there. A fun, casual place to bring out-of-town friends when they visit.
They had a really nice selection of craft beer and the gentleman behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't have time to sit outdoors and enjoy anything, but just grabbed some local brews that I couldn't get back home on my way back to Nashville.I will definitely make it a point to stop by again on my way through
The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and enthusiastic about their beers. You can tell they love beer and their job. They can tell you anything you want to know about the beers on their shelf and on tap. It's a great place to go in the summer because they have a huge outdoor area and usually offer barbeque (although ive never gotten a
Great beer friendly staff. Great place to sit outside and meet cool people. Enjoy just about any beer you like and house specialties on tap
Bearden Beer Market is the perfect fair weather drinking spot. As Mary T noted, it used to be a flower shop and they have converted it to a beer store and beer garden. Most of the space is outdoor seating but they have a couple of areas with TVs couches, tables, etc spread around in the buildings that surround the courtyard. Addition
Liked: Convenient distances feom school and work, On the bus route, Salt water pool Disliked: Expensive
This place is literally a beer market that used to be a flower/garden shop. It is pretty relaxing on a lazy Sunday to go sit on some picnic benches, while downing a cold one to get rid of your hangover. It is dog friendly, so bring your pooches if you want. They also have games like cornhole, so have your game-face on when you arrive.
Not too bad for TN. Guy was kind of a jerk when I asked about some other beers. I believe is comment to my question about getting some beers in from CO was, "if its good beer we will have it". Just made me laugh, although they do have some great beers they cant even sell anything over 6.2% ABV, that's 90% of some great beers. O well
My husband and I really like this place. A nice laid back atmosphere, HUGE beer selection, and knowlegable staff. One thing I really like is that you can sample the beer on tap before committing to a pint-- which is great for those of us looking to try new types of beer. I've not spent time in the beer garden (we've always sat inside
The guys at BBM are trying to do something great for the craft beer scene in Knoxville. They have some work to do but it gets better every time I'm in town. The brew selection is awesome and the prices are pretty standard. BBM is a good time...just a little too hot when it's 85+ outside.
Chris and the crew at BBM are great. They will take the time to educate you about the new beers on tap as well as the new bottles in stock. Very friendly! It has been fun to watch them grow. Was pleased to see them installing some heaters foe the beer garden too. Great people!!
I'm pleased to report things have improved at the Beer Market. My wife and I visited on a sunny summer Friday evening. There were many folks drinking beer under the awning -- I still hesitate to call this a beer garden, but it works for Knoxville -- and milling about the store. The selection has improved greatly; the Market now has bee
While the market is just getting started, the concept would appear it is going to rock, much needed in Knoxville. The Market is a craft beer store (Cold selections in the walk in cooler as well as shelf selections), has taps for their craft production as well as other beers they will soon be adding. The store also sells gourmet meats
