Loud in-unit AC, small closets, indented carpet and floor tell you how low the quality of the finishes are, bathroom shower head too weak, dust accumulates so fast overnight I would know why if I had built the complex but for me all I know is that it was a pain to keep up with the cleaning! Make sure to tour the apartment before renting out, make sure to turn the AC on while in unit to hear how loud it is, and have an idea of the bad smell that comes out of it, also, if you’re touring unit 2404... specifically make sure to check out the 2nd bedroom facing south to feel how unrealistically hot or cold the temperature is, it’s like you’re basically living in a greenhouse. I’m not gonna explain how awfully loud it gets almost everyday of the week because of the KC live block, again, especially when you rent any apartment facing East/south. I counted the days till my lease was over.

Lacking character. More style over substance.
Nice pool but gets filled with members of local gym rather than residents. And nice location downtown, but expensive and whole place lacks personality.

Great Place to Be
I just moved a couple of months ago and love the building. Alayna was awesome helping get my apartment and was super easy to work with throughout the whole process. The community events are a great way to feel apart of the building and meet your neighbors and the location is awesome to say the least. Easy walk to P L, Consentino's (in the basement actually), Midland theatre and let's not forget the Sprint Center. I would highly recommend looking at moving here!

The High Life
This place is incredible. Floor to ceiling windows, top of the line kitchens, beautiful flooring, closet space..you name it. But also, let's touch on the included membership to OneLife Fitness, or your direct access to Cosentino's, OneLIfe and a rooftop park (there are some Instagram worthy photo ops there..hashtags not included). Let's not forget about the frequent gatherings One Light has to bring their residents together, and who doesnt want to be a 2 minute walk home from a Chiefs or Royals... watch party or a Hot County Night concert at the KC Live! Block? You will want to be here. You will want to show your friends and family where you live. You will find more reasons to host more parties. Trust me on this. One Light will romance you..and its worth it. From the minute you hit the "contact property" button, you will be in good hands. The leasing team genuinely cares about your wants, your needs, your requests. They aren't just hitting a "quota", they are finding your home.
