Terrible
We were excited to move into this community because, at first glance, the apartments look modern and updated. Unfortunately, our experience from move-in day forward has been extremely disappointing.
The biggest issue has been the overall condition of the apartment at move-in. It quickly became clear that many things were either rushed, poorly repaired, or never properly inspected before we arrived.
Some of the issues we encountered included:
Standing water and drainage problems in the backyard... area.
Flooring gaps, uneven planks, lifting seams, and visible damage throughout the unit.
Water damage and staining under the kitchen sink.
Poor cosmetic repairs and patch jobs on doors and walls.
Crooked or poorly installed hardware and finish work.
Chipped cabinets, paint drips, cracked surfaces, and sloppy detailing throughout the apartment.
Scratched and visibly worn appliances that looked heavily used before move-in.
Multiple signs of rushed turnover work rather than a properly prepared apartment.
What was most frustrating was walking into a unit that clearly was not truly move-in ready. If management needed more time to complete repairs and properly prepare the apartment, that should have been communicated honestly upfront instead of having new residents discover issue after issue themselves.
To be fair, the layout and updated style of the apartment have potential, and some staff members have been polite during interactions. However, appearance only goes so far when the actual workmanship and preparation are lacking underneath the surface.
As a resident, you want to feel like your home was cared for before you arrived. Instead, this experience has often felt like corners were cut simply to get units occupied quickly.
I hope management takes resident concerns more seriously moving forward and focuses less on cosmetic appearances and more on quality control, communication, and proper maintenance before move-in.
