Poor Drainage in Common Entrance Area

On April 2, 2025, after a heavy rainstorm that evening, rainflood flooded the area in the main common entrance to all the way to halfway of my vehicle. Causing complete immobilization. Vehicle was declared a total loss from flood damage. Common area has poor drainage and caused significant safety concerns for myself and other residents. The vehicle was unable to function properly and I had to climb out of the window while it was still working before being trapped possibly underwater from poor... drainage.
I notified Property Manager on date of incident and she still towed the vehicle after manually parking the vehicle from her request to move it. No actions were taken to prevent this issue from happening again.

Losing your vehicle to flooding in our common area and feeling unsupported afterward is something we take extremely seriously. This should never have happened and you... deserve a thorough response and resolution. Average quality for the price I’d say?

Nice community, lots of amenities. Overall floor plans are pretty nice. Plumbing can be a bit of an issue, or at least in mine it did. But overall I’m happy here.

5 year resident here!

I first moved here when I was pregnant with my son and wanting to find a quiet and safe neighborhood to raise him. Safe to say Metropolitan is great to raise a family, with other children here and young professionals. The staff is also very communicative and I appreciate that so much.
