I have lived at the Cosmopolitan ...

I have lived at the Cosmopolitan for years and my dog Max has grown up there. He is now 13. He loves the Staff as much as I do! The building is a wonderful place to live and the exceptional staff is a happy bonus! I feel like family there! Team Cosmo comes through when something is needed or a problem arises. The community is so fort

I debated on updating this review for some time but I must. †I can not leave my glowing review as is because I would feel horrible if someone had a bad experience on my watch. What prompted me to update was what transpired today. †What should have been a routine stop in the office turned out to be a battle of sorts. †We, since moving

I have lived at the Cosmpolitan for a year now and have loved it since the day I moved in. A previous poster had noted that the walls were "paper thin"; I disagree. A huge selling point for me was that there is 12 inches of concrete that separates each apartment - so important because I have a dog with a loud bark. My neighbor tel

This is THE best place ever! People are so friendly!!! The residents and the staff! I love that there is someone at the front desk until late in the evening to handle dry cleaning, packages, etc., the entire building is dog-friendly, I have an in-unit washer and dryer, there is a beautiful party room and courtyard, plus a fitness cen

My experience at the Cosmopolitan is absolutely amazing.

Pros: Working at the Cosmopolitan is actually an amazing experience. I love the people I work for and actually enjoy coming to work. We are treated like people, and although there are set backs in the operational aspect of work, it is to be expected. The pay is fantastic, and genuinely being happy to be at work reflects towards the g

Great Culture and Team Work

Pros: Culture, community, interesting work, fast-paced, variety of growth opportunities across several areas Cons: long hours, disorganization, lack of accountability Advice to Management: better quality recognition and appreciation for lower level employees

The culture of Zappos and the unsteadyness of a underfunded corporation.

Pros: They are independently owned. They are a young company and ripe with ideas and thirsty to do something different on the Strip. They are a breath of fresh air when getting hired, because they are not stuck in a time warp of hiring their best friends They also have personality aside from just gaming. They focus on the overall gue

Great company to work for if you do what's expected of you or more

Pros: Superior internal culture. Give you a complete sense of belonging. Excellent food in the employee dining room. Cons: A lot of young, inexperienced managers. Employees hired for personality, not necessarily for skills in their particular job. Advice to Management: Listen to your employees about the current status of your departm

Great Experience

Pros: Work environment, room for personal growth, opportunity to climb the career ladder Cons: Depending on the department you work for, structures may seem strange

Good Company to work for

Pros: Company has evolved to a destination where young and old want to come and stay. The amenities at the property and the staff really loves to work here. Cons: Upward movement within your position. Takes a long time to progress as it seems that internal politics take precedence over skill level. If it wasn't for that everything wo

Overall it was positive - the CoStar concept was a big plus

Pros: The culture - offering something "Different that Matters" Cons: That concept doesn't work too well in a Gaming environment Advice to Management: If you're going to catch the big fish - you have to use the right bait. Success in a Gaming environment is based on reputation, building and maintaining a clientele base which increase

I had an overall pleasing experience while I was employed at the cosmopolitain.

Pros: Great volunteer program and employee dining. The beverage program is phenomenal and they really are about giving more. Great sense of community with in the whole property. The restaurants in the Cosmo aren't anywhere else in Las Vegas. Cons: Off site parking is a pain when the shuttle is full and they were already running late.

An appropriate job to supplement my pension

Pros: Great culture and friendly coworkers well served by human resources. Cons: Casino and resort industry requiring shift work and mandatory holidays. Advice to Management: Few middle management and supervisor positions to move into and just a continual turnover of employees.

Great

Pros: Great Employee Dining room, lots of room for advancement. Cons: Like all casinos, odd hours, very political.

I've lived at the Cosmopolitan ...

I've lived at the Cosmopolitan for going on 8 years. I have no desire to leave, due in large because of the staff. They're committed to creating an inviting, comfortable, fun environment for the residences - we have a lot of BBQ's and charity drives and other get-togethers throughout the year. They offer terrific parking options, aff

A big part of what I do though Yelp and my blog is encouraging people to try out some of the great things that Saint Paul has to offer. cranks here! Not "cliquey." Friendly, safe building. Yes it is a quiet bldg - but for 1000/month we expect a safe home where we get a good night's sleep - as most of us WORK that live here. Hard to believe i am the first to review the Cosmo in the Lowertown land of yelpers but i am happy to do so! The apartments are large and spacious ...

The apartments are large and spacious with warehouse windows (I was on the 7th floor overlooking Mears park - quite pretty as far as apartment views go). For the price, they are quite nice. However, the prices are a bit high ($900ish for 1BR) but you certainly get more for your money than living in Minneapolis. Of course, the down

I cannot say enough good things about the Cosmopolitan Apartments. My wife and I moved in a few years ago... into a studio unit on the seventh floor. We were attracted to the Art Deco on the outside.
