food is delicious. tastes fresh and organic. staff is very friendly. definitely worth the price and the wait. btw, great spot for ppl watching!
We ate at The Grove twice last week, both times after hours in the car. The grilled cheese sandwiches (made with multiple cheeses) and cold local beef on tap saved our lives! Great fun, place with good satisfying food and good service.
First off, the food here is fantastic! I' has here during bay-to-breakers in 2012, and it was so crowded. I thought it was the event; fast forward to aug. 2013. It's very crowded. It a small place, but extremely popular; because the food, beverages are great. The menu is diverse, and unique; I had huevos rancheros, which instead of s
This place is great. Fresh squeezed orange juice, beer and wine, and amazing breakfast burritos. Their oatmeal is also very good (and I don't order Oatmeal when I go out to brunch).
Food was ok, not great. Ideas are there, just need to work on them. Place is cool, staff friendly, specially lady who takes your order.
Best salad, Chinese chicken, my wife had a vegetable sandwich, our one daughter had a toasted cheese sandwich - excellent. Cool atmosphere, a real neighborhood restaurant in a very cool part of the city. Spend some time walking around Fillmore.
We picked this place for dinner as it was recommended by The Lonely Planet and was close to where we were staying in Pacific Heights. The Grove is a shabby-chic cafe with a young, student crowd. The food is homely and comforting. We ordered Mac N Cheese and Enchiladas. The portions were huge and the food was good. Fillmore Street...
Pretty good food for a place you order at the cash register and it is brought to you. If you are in a rush and want something light the Grove is great
In the Fillmore District - some interesting food, a little pricey for being the kind of place where you place your order & pay at the counter, then they bring your food to your table. All of the servers/cashier were very friendly, and it is apparent that it is a popular place. However, too much furniture in the place, difficult...
My husband and I make an annual trip to Japan Town for a conference at Hotel Kabuki and the Cherry Blossom Festival. This is the second time we have ate at The Grove and have found the restaurant delightful. The tables are very close together which encourages conversations with strangers. We wound up sitting next to a young women who
We normally eat at The Grove each time I visit my niece from Portland. During a recent visit I was rather disappointed; furnishings are worn, bench pillows soiled, coffee bitter and the breakfast potatoes were greasy! I love the Fillmore neighborhood though and who knows I may go back.
One of my favorite breakfast spots since I tend to be near Fillmore when I'm in SF. Good coffee, egg dishes & bagels. We had eggs florentine (which is more like a benedict that most places), 2 bagels w/hummus, avocado, sprouts, a bagel w/cream cheese & lox, 2 coffees, hot chocolate, OJ & tomato juice. $50 before tax & tip....
While living at the Fillmore Center, this garage was my only option for parking. I paid for monthly, which was in the ballpark of $150 a month, so pretty much standard/borderline cheap for San Francisco. It was always clean, I personally had no security issues, no break ins, and it was well lit. Located roughly 1.5 to 2 blocks from
Stopped to grab a brew on Fillmore street and loved my coffee sat on the street benches. Perfect place to watch the world go by under the hot California sun
I've been to the Grove on Chestnut and Fillmore streets often, and have gone to them since they first opened. Pros: They are unique in their decor and setting (fireplace, couches), you can dine alone or be on your computer all day and not feel out of place, and it is very casual. Cons: The food? Passable, but not particularly...
We stumbled across this place on a Saturday evening whilst looking for somewhere to eat after a busy day of sightseeing. We both enjoyed the chicken pot pie and shared a scumptious chocolate cake. Good food and great vibe, would recommend and would go again if in SF
All ingredients are fresh the menu does not offer too many plates. The place is great ( location and settings) and service good. The wine comed too cold, as usual, but it was good. I had the spinach dip and my friend the burger then we shared a pie (amazing) and finished warmly our great soma day.
Took four teenagers here for breakfast. We had a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich on bagel, oatmeal, french toast, smoothie, and yogurt with granola. All the kids were thrilled with thier choices. I was very pleased myself. Nice hipster spot in an awesome area of SF.
Well worth a visit - we loved their chicken pot pie and chicken apple salad. Prices are reasonable and food is thoughtfully prepared. Casual environment, kind of loud.
Great place, fresh food but my family did not like their salads at all. I had the berkely and liked it but my teens didnt like theirs (apple one) and after a $70 lunch had to order a sandwich. I enjoyed my salad and it was a good size but for whatever reason the girls didnt go for it today....
High quality. They make it from scratch so food is fresh and yummy. Kind of funky atmosphere which is fun
Went there on a Saturday for brunch. In contrary to what everybody says, we could easily find a table for four upon arrival. My favorite part of the menu was the Salads. simple ingredient, put beautifully together. But there so many other very nice options as well. The Soju Mary (Bloody Mary with Soju the Korean vodka) and Mimosa (..
Filled with rustic wooden tables, iron light fixtures, a large stone fireplace, one cant help but feel like theyve been transported into the mountains of Colorado at The Grove on Fillmore Street. Despite the Western vibe, they serve up fresh California inspired cuisine and theres a little something for everyone. During my lunch, I or
My wife and I were in town for one day and found this little place. We felt as though it was a gem. After a week in Sonoma wine tasting, all we wanted was a place to sit and relax. The staff was very helpful. We weren't hungry so we didn't eat but we just shared a pot of loose...
Love this place for a causal brunch on a weekend. If the weather is nice, the outdoor tables make for a perfect meal. The coffee is fantastic as are the salads. Sit back and enjoy San Francisco!
I keep coming back here when I'm out looking for food in the 'hood. Its sort of a cross between a bar and restaurant. No one really cares what you are up to here, which makes it good for when you're on your own. Its partly self-serve, and the food is good. Chinese chicken salad is tasty, and there are...
I've had a neck injury resulting in temporary paralysis. Needless to say, I'm very cautious now about anyone touching my neck. I have complete trust in Dr. Galina Nayfeld. She takes the time to listen to my questions and answers them in normal, everyday language. She really knows what she is doing, she's very thorough and kind, a
