Northland Studios

I have lived here going on 5 years in August I feel very safe and comfortable in my apartment. I am a single female living alone and have no worries going out to my car at night the parking lot is well lit up laundry room is always kept clean very close to everything Walmart and HyVee are right across the street QuikTrip is on the corner but you feel cozy and nestled in your building surrounded by trees. Place is disgusting roaches everywhere and if you live in the ground level when it rains it floods the apartment I’m warning everyone not to move in this place and when you tell manager they don’t care and are rude and won’t give your security deposit back when you move out I wish there was someone higher than them who you can talk to on how the property is ran

Management is nice, attentive, and makes me feel at home.

They are slow to return refunds. I also wanted to see the unit multiple times before signing the lease however there was always an issue. The last time she didn’t even have the right unit number so I took it as a sign and asked for my security deposit back. It’s almost been two months it’s “still processing” and I can’t have the number of the higher ups.

I'm a Northland Lifer, born & raised NKC. Graduate of NKC High School so when life put me in a position to live alone, Northland Studios was a fit. I was offered the best available unit and I moved in ASAP.

I live on bottom floor which is great for me so I don't have to climb stairs with my disability for breathing. The area is quiet and I always get a good night's sleep. No one is loud or obnoxious. Since I'm older and not a "partier" this fits my lifestyle.

Our office manager, Dave, is a... prince. Always attentive to my needs. Maintenance men, Chris and Brandon, are very professional and kind.

As it stands right now, I'd recommend this studio apartment to anyone that needs a small place. Read More
