Bloomfield On The River

no flower, no grass, a lot of big dogs ( no more than 25 lbs, per lease). Washrooms are not up to par glass doors are unlocked and dirty. Someone could be living down or in the stairwells.

The apartment complex is located at the edge of Bloomfield Hills And across from Waterford Michigan the apartment I live in is over 50 years old it is spacious but needs improvement There's a lot of pluses to this apartment complex but there's also a lot of negative Some of the positive aspects of the apartment are a dishwasher a spacious bedroom and a decent sized living room the negative of the apartment very small kitchen And also very small dining area But there is plenty of closet space But... there is no storage area in the basement they do have a washer and dryer in the basement on a token system and I also have air conditioning The the windows are big But the negatives are That this is a lower income apartment complex and those are the people that live In this complex they constantly work on the grounds and try to keep up with everything that breaks down because of the complexes age and they do get things done without problems sometimes it just takes a little more time to get parts or something like that I really like the apartment I live in I'm just not too happy with its location I don't have a car so I'd have to take a bus To get any where it's located right next to bus stops and Bloomfield Hills is only a quarter of a mile away and the bus will take me all the way to Detroit if I wanted to go Read More

I like the fact that we're by a river. I like the wildlife and the fact that we can go fishing off the deck. I don't like the small square footage, I don't like the old looking apartments and appliances, and the outside could look better. Also I wish we had washer/dryers in the units.

For a long time, I drove past Bloomfield on the River apartments and never considered to even rent here, but my husband really wanted to check them out. I'm glad he did! The outside has had some updates since we've moved here and the inside is actually nice (though I wish I had 2 bathrooms).

Our landlord is simply amazing. As long as you're communicating with him as to what you need, he's on top of it. Maintenance is decent. Sometimes it'll take a couple of days, but most of the time they'll... come the same day. The residents are nice for the most part and will at least say hi to you. Read More
