Situated on a 17 acre private lake, Hawk Lake Apartments and Townhomes offers you a quiet and peaceful area to call home. Nestled in the Proud Lake Recreational area, our lake area is able to be accessed by all tenants for fishing, short hiking through established wetland trails and even canoeing. In the spring and summer, the lake shore allows families the ability to experience many outdoor recreational activities without having to drive anywhere. There are picnic tables and grills set up for tenant use and are easily accessable from anywhere in the complex. You may even keep your non-motorized boats at our shore area. We have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, and 2 bedroom townhouses. With an average residency rate of 5 1/2 years, our residents represent families with children, seniors, singles and roommates. It is a quiet community run by a private company with managers and maintenance that live on-site. While the complex has a quiet, out-of-the-way feel to it, we are still able to boast easy access to all local freeways. We are part of the Walled Lake Consolidated School District and are within one mile of both area high schools and two elementary schools. Just a few miles from the Novi Shopping area, you will have quick and easy access to a multitude of stores and restaurants. Available for those that are unable to travel on their own is the Walled Lake Community Transit. This offers a "shopping loop" at least four times a week to WalMart, Kroger, Meijer and others. You will also be able to utilize the service to get to appointments at select hospitals and medical centers. Included in these are the Wixom Senior Center, Huron Valley Hospital and Medical Center, Providence Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital, the Social Security Office and Twelve Oaks Mall. This service is free within the city of Walled Lake and is a nominal cost for select areas outside of the city.
