I moved here as this was the only building with the amenities I needed within my budget and I must say that I am loving it. The building has a huge gym, pool table, indoor swimming pool, ping pong table and a huge deck. The one bedroom apartment I live in is quite spacious and has ample storage. The building is centrally located with a

I want to give this place 4 or even 5 stars had it not been for the final statement that we got from the management office after we moved out. The apartment itself super great, great big bedroom, living room, kitchen isnt the most updated but its still better then most. The amenities are great as well and the staff does a really good
McClurg court center is a good starter apartment in Chicago if you are looking for affordability. Units: Affordable. Good location. Small side. Windows don't open up very much. Single stream air system. Management seems to think air conditioning is a luxury and doesn't turn the system on until late summer and will sporadically turn i
Location, location, location, large living spaces, great amenities and near everything.
I've lived here for almost three years now and still think it is a fantastic value! The building offers extensive amenities including an indoor pool, business center, 3 indoor tennis courts, yoga room, a humongous gym, and a newly renovated sun deck with built-in grills. My one bedroom unit also has TONS of closet space, which is key
I have lived here for over 2 years and love it! Have never had any issues with the management company and feel are members of the staff are helpful and friendly! They have also continued to renovate and improve the building. A great location and great place for any newbies to Chicago!
I do really love this place but sometimes things need to be changed.
I lived here for a year, and it was absolutely a wonderful rental experience. At first, I had some trepidations after one of the office staff was extremely rude to me, but she has since stopped working in the office, and everyone else is friendly, and they seem to really care about the residents. The building itself is huge, and the ap
I do not have much experience in apartment renting, but I have recently moved into McClurg Court tower A in the past week. So far, my experience is extremely positive. The tower (as far as I have counted) has 19 restaurants within its block and the one between them and the mag mile, is a 15 minute walk to the central loop, and has an
Here is a review of the tennis courts at McClurg: windycitytennis.com/2013
As a former resident, I have to say that I regret moving out. Why? Sure, there is the nice location, the convenience, nice views, reasonable price, friendly staff and managers, as the others have documented. But what makest them really stand out in my mind is the very reasonable and honest approach to pricing on renewed leases. So ma
The building has and is currently going through renovations to update its look. It is equipped with a full gym, aerobic rooms, lap pool, hot tub, business center, parking garage, bike room, 7/11, and dry cleaners on site. There are many delicious restaurants near by and it is conveniently located close to many of Chicago's hot spot
I like the building, the apartment and the facilities. However, the doorman staff are horrible. They are lazy and impolite. If the management team trained (or CHANGE) their employees on how to be useful and kind with the residents, it would be more pleasant to live in this building and have to deal with this situation every day.
The Clurg (as I call it) is home for me. I am sure there are always better places. But Its nice here. In-door heated pool; OMG MEGA GYM!; 7-Eleven 1st floor; Cleaners 1st floor; Storage rooms; 2 laundry rooms (30 washers/30 dryers each); freakn huge lounge room with wi-fi; spacious computer room; and best of all the VIEW! This is one
We've absolutely loved living here for the past year, and leaving is definitely bittersweet. We lived in a one bedroom apartment very close to the top, facing the lake, so we had a pretty unbelievable view. Despite not being one of the new "updated" apartments, all of our appliances were perfectly fine (the dishwasher definitely look
I lived here for two years and can say that it's generally been a good experience. Access to grocery stores, facilities (gym, tennis court, pool, business center, barbecue pits, etc.) are all great. Pretty good bang for the buck in the area. Maintenance was prompt and good, and generally nice.A few downsides: although sound is genera
I am sadly moving out of my apartment next week and as time permits I'll update this review, but I can tell you for certain that I LOVED living here for the past 5 years and the positives FAR FAR FAR outweigh the negatives. The location of this building is PERFECT. Three grocery stores within throwing distance. Easy access to Lake Sh
No place is going to be perfect for everyone but this place overall for me was great. It's way better than where I live now. Less modern but still.I actually rented an apartment here unseen. I just used the internet to get a feel of what was the place was going to be like. Being completely new to Chicago, I figured the best place to
McClurg Court is the best apartment to live in the city. The staff is great, especially Holly. I'm from Michigan and visit my son who's a graduate student at Northwestern and she's very friendly and accomadates me with any questions I may have. I highly recommend McClurg Court because there are a lot of great people who work and live
I have lived in McClurg Court Center for about three years now, and I absolutely LOVE it. Let me break it down:Price Point:You will be hard pressed to find anything less expensive in Streeterville! More expensive apartments might have things that McClurg doesn't offer, like in unit washer/dryer (laundry is on the 2nd floor-plenty of
I lived here for one year (August 2009-August 2010) and overall had an excellent experience. I feel like I could list a ton of reasons why I liked this place, but it might be more productive to list what I didn't like. So, here we go...- Organization A few weeks after moving in, I needed proof of my new address so I could get a ne
I miss my old apartment here for so many reason.1. Great professional doormen that are diligent about checking ID's at both doors.2. We're attached to the 7-Eleven which has a RedBox DVD kiosk.3. A dry cleaner in your building! How awesome is that??4. They accept your packages for you and leave you a note when it's in and will keep i
