From Chicago, take I-57 South to Route 13 West (the exit for Marion, Illinois). Continue to Carbondale. Turn left on Lewis Lane (the second street past University Mall on the left). At the third stoplight, turn right onto Grand Avenue. You'll see Lewis Park on the left side of the road.From St. Louis and the east Metro area, take I-64 East to Mount Vernon, Illinois. In Mount Vernon, I-64 East will merge with I-57 South. Follow I-57 South to Route 13 West (the exit for Marion, Illinois). Continue on Route 13 West to Carbondale.
