New Year’s Lemonade

Just because summer has flown past, doesn’t mean our love for lemonade has.  Add a sprig of mint and a fancy glass and this would make a beautiful New Year’s refreshment.


  1. Combine sugar and 1 cup water into a shallow sauce pan. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

Prep: 30 mins

Cook: 5 mins

Ready in: 4 hrs and 35 mins

    I recommend that you add the juice of one orange as well, makes it just that much better!
