3 Out of the Box Gift Ideas for Father’s Day

Mother’s Day has come and gone.  Mother’s Day was a breeze.  Some shiny jewelry, a gift card for a day of pampering, a hand made card.  Donezo.  Now enters Father’s Day and with it comes the frantic search for the perfect gift for the dad in your life.  Sure you can go the tried and true route of a tie, car cleaning supplies or golf balls, but this year is going to be different. This year, you have us to advise you! Gifts for Dad - Blog Final 600
  • For the tech-happy dad: No matter what your tech-happy dad is into besides technology, chances are he is on the move and has a cell phone. What could be more perfect than a cell phone charger that uses solar power? It’s green, neat, and helps him keep in touch with you.
  • For the foodie dad: Few dads are unhappy with food gifts, and the truth is that the way to get a man to love you is to feed him. There are tons of places online that can satisfy this need, and they include but are far from limited to beer of the month clubs, jerky of the month clubs, snack mix boxes, and even fruit arrangements! Look around online for what would be a good buy for your dad.
  • For the sentimental dad: So many places are popping up to get photos printed out on usable items such as mugs, mouse pads, even throw blankets. If you don’t get to see dad too often or if you have kids he absolutely adores, get something printed up that he can use every day and think about you. You can find these services at various superstores and drug stores. Go nuts!
Whatever “type” of dad you have, keep this in mind. The best thing about fathers is that when it comes to their kids and the gifts they receive from them; sometimes the only thing they want is to be remembered and loved!
