Mouse Cupcakes

Squeak! Squeak! Check out this fun baking project with your kids or for a party!

  • 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) of cake mix
  • 1-2 cans of frosting
  • 1 box of vanilla wafers
  • Gumdrops, jelly beans, Twizzlers Pull N Peel

Prepare cake batter and bake according to package directions for cupcakes. Use foil or paper cupcake holders. Remove from pans to completely cool.

Frost cupcakes with desired frosting flavor of choice.  I only go through one can, but if you like a generous amount of frosting, be prepared to have two cans. For ears, position two vanilla wafers on each cupcake.  Add half gum drops for eyes and a jelly bean for the nose (You can also switch up the eyes and nose with red hots, skittles, mini  M&M’s, etc.).  Next, insert short pieces of licorice for the whiskers.  Serving: 2 dozen

Enjoy these mice!
