2011 was a big year for me, I found out I was pregnant with my second child and I moved into a new place. Almost instantly after moving in my instinctive nesting switch was flipped to the “extreme on” setting and I wanted to make my home my own. However, I was faced with a few dilemmas. Most paints are not safe for expecting mommas to be around, and I wanted to be the one doing the updating all the while keeping my unborn baby, my toddler, and my two puggles safe. So, I went on a quest to find a way I could give my bathroom a makeover and keep my family (furry friends included!) safe.
After talking to my coworker and mentioning that I wanted a non-toxic paint that didn’t compromise on quality, she suggested I go with Mythic paint. I did some research and found out that Mythic is non-carcinogenic paint with zero-volatile organic compounds and zero-toxins. I went on to check reviews and found nothing but good things. It was decided. Mythic paint was the paint for me.
When it arrived, I was so excited I asked a coworker to snap a pic with her phone. I quickly sent that sucker through Instagram and tweeted it out to my friends! (Sorry about the poor quality of the picture!)
The weekend came and I was ready to get started! I snapped my own pic this time and got to work!
My daughter, Ava, joined me in the bathroom to see what all the commotion was about. It was such a relief to know she could “help” and be completely safe. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out the paint was extremely low odor. My husband, J.R., has a high sensitivity to strong chemical smells so he was happy with Mythic too!
I could go on and on about how safe and wonderful Mythic paint is but the bottom line is this company makes excellent quality paint.
