Summa Summa!

The countdown to summer is done!  Happy long awaited first day of summer!

Here’s a great DIY craft for you to try this summer so you can rest those cool, tasty drinks on something fashionable.

Terra Cotta Coasters

You can find the Terra Cotta pieces in crafts stores and home good stores.  Often, they are found in the plant section as the bases or water catchers for potted plants.

You’ll want to buy the smaller sized ones for coasters, think drink size!  Feel free to paint them any color you wish to match your style.

Pick a fun printed paper to suit your taste for the inside of your coaster and get to modge podging!  Once that has dried you can spray the finished product with a sealant and glue some cork circles to the bottom of them for a one-of-a-kind coaster!
