Ingredients You Need

  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 4 oz crumbled blue cheese
  • 6 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 12 slices of center cut bacon

How to Make Blue Cheese Jalapeno Poppers

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees

Step 2: Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds and membrane.

Step 3: Combine and mix the cream cheese and blue cheese together in a small bowl.  Fill each pepper half with the cheese mixture.

Step 4: Wrap a slice of center cut bacon around each filled half. Secure with a toothpick. Leave on broiler rack with pan underneath so bacon drippings can drain off.

Step 5: Cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is fully cooked.

If you like a firm bite on your peppers with crisp bacon, Chris recommends cooking the bacon slightly before wrapping it. Consider using her method of cooking the peppers for 10 minutes covered with aluminum foil and another 10-15 minutes without.
