| September 13, 2012 | 0 Comments

This week I’m sharing a delicious and refreshing recipe for the perfect tailgate drink. Let’s face it, beer is king when it comes to tailgates. Jazz up your beer with this Gridiron Punch recipe and you’ll have the guys + gals alike sipping on this citrus sipper. I’ve spent a couple of weeks sharing my favorite food recipes and ideas, so I wanted to share a drink recipe too!

  • 6 bottles beer
  • 2 ½ cups pineapple juice
  • 12 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • Lemon, lime, and orange for garnish
Serves 6

Simply pour and stir! Now, you can use disposable cups but if you want to add some fun, then pre-pour this gridiron punch into mason jars.

Tie with jute or a ribbon in your team’s colors and add a little tag like this one which has the recipe for guests to take home! Love this tag? Here is a downloadable copy for you! Print as many as you need.

Make a gridiron punch for the kids too! Just omit the beer by mixing the pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda, and citrus garnishes. Be sure to label these clearly for kids. Serve with striped paper straws in your team’s colors and you’ll be on your way to tailgate perfection!
