After touring several communities, you might have a difficult time keeping them separate in your mind!   [2] Use the ForRent.com Apartment Hunting Checklist. Rate each community based on your search criteria to help you assess & make your final decision.   [3] Calculate how much you can comfortably pay each month. Rent should be approximately 25% of your gross income.   [4] Tour a maximum of five communities in a day in your search.
