Don’t move here
I have lived at Regal Court Apartments for over a decade, and unfortunately my experience over the years has become increasingly disappointing. I normally do not leave reviews, but after recent events I genuinely feel people deserve transparency before signing a lease here.
The management has consistently been one of the biggest issues. Communication is poor, concerns are often dismissed, and many long-term residents feel uncomfortable speaking up because of how management responds to criticism... or complaints.
There have been repeated maintenance and sanitation concerns over the years, including pipe and sewage issues, recurring cockroach problems, and now concerns from residents regarding mold. Recently there was another sewage-related incident that took days to properly address. Conditions like this are unacceptable for residents who are paying high rent and trusting management to maintain safe living conditions.
The amenities advertised online are also very misleading. The “modern fitness center” is extremely small with limited and sometimes broken equipment. The gates are frequently left open despite advertising “controlled access.” The playground has been unusable for a long time, the grills and outdoor areas are poorly maintained, and the pool is rarely open consistently.
The most frustrating recent situation involved our lease renewal. Before renewing, we specifically asked management about our work vans because they are considered commercial vehicles. We were verbally told they would be okay to keep on the property. Based on that information, we renewed and signed a new lease. Then literally the next day, management emailed us saying the vehicles were no longer allowed and refused to let us go month-to-month or break the lease. We now feel trapped in a lease we likely would not have renewed under the new policy.
I understand every apartment complex has issues, but the lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism here has been exhausting. I strongly encourage future renters to ask detailed questions, get everything in writing, and carefully research before signing a lease here.
