The Lakes at Lionsgate Apartments

I recently had maintenance in my apartment that has enhanced my level of safety. While work that was completed met all my expectations it was the level of customer service that truly made the difference. Andrew and Brandy were exceptional in the speed with which they completed the task but what set them apart was the manner in which they did so with complete customer service at the forefront.

Where does one begin when writing a review that really should be entitled PRAISE when it comes to the attention given to me and my home by Andrew and Brandy. I will start by focusing on Andrew and his work ethic – I can think of only one or two other people in any profession I have ever encountered, and that was long ago, that reflected the level of work ethic that Andrew demonstrated throughout the entire time he was working in my home. He not only valued how I was doing throughout the entire... time he spent working but valued my home not as someone who was just a renter but more so as someone who owned the place. The professionalism displayed in his work, his expertise as he moved from task to task, and his willingness to allow me to watch and ask questions along the way was second to none. I felt confident in everything he did within my home as it left me with a feeling that, going forward, I would not be submitting a work order to have something repaired or replaced if Andrew had worked on it. With Andrew, from the start, I was put at ease and thus made to feel very comfortable having in him in my home moving about from room to room. They made me apply and canceled my application and told me a month later on my move-in date. Poor management. Leasing agent always being replaced.

This place is honestly a joke. The leasing office does absolutely nothing. They ignore calls, ignore emails, and act like helping residents is some kind of burden. If you need anything, good luck — you’ll be chasing them for weeks.

Maintenance is slow and half-done. Things don’t get fixed properly, and nobody seems to care. For the amount of rent they charge, the service is embarrassing.

Apartment is what I'd expect for the price range, office staff is very nice, trash is the main issue.
But the trash situation is out of control, 2 small dumpsters for 4 buildings with 8 apartments each that get emptied unpredictably. There is trash all over the ground around the dumpsters because they overflow ever other week. Now I'm sure in part this is due to the residents, but it gets difficult when the dumpster has been full for a week and you have trash that needs to go out.
