There are so many off-campus housing options available, so you may not know where to begin your search. Start by making a list of exactly what you want. Since you’re attending college, you probably want to live near campus. UC-Davis is known for its extensive bike program, so consider finding an apartment in locations that are commutable by bike. Here are some options for off campus apartments near UC-Davis that may be a good fit for you (and possibly your roommates, if you have them):

 

First in line is Silverstone. With only a 2-mile commute to campus, your everyday travels will be a breeze! The apartments in this community are equipped with a washer and dryer (in select units), bicycle racks, a pool and spa for relaxation, and a 24-hour fitness center. If you are an animal lover, Silverstone is very pet-friendly, so feel free to bring along your furry friend! For those days that you don’t feel like riding your bike to school, Silverstone provides a shuttle to campus. A studio with one bath ranges from $995-$1050 and a one bedroom, one bath ranges from $1105-$1140.

 

Next in line is College Square Apartments. The commute to campus is only 1 mile away, allowing you to easily bike to your classes.There are endless benefits of living in this community. It’s close to campus and the apartment provides walk-in closets, free WiFi, and a study lounge, perfect for those all-nighters spent on schoolwork. Just because you’re a college student doesn’t mean that you have to be limited to living on campus. There are plenty of off-campus locations that are affordable and within biking or walking distance of UC-Davis.
