Are there any communities north of the Twin Cities that may be worth a look for rentals?

Shoreview is a community of 27,000 people and is a terrific place to look for apartments in North Twin Cities area. Low crime, open spaces and access to a multitude of lakes all add up to a more rural feel than Saint Paul or Minneapolis. Even so, Shoreview is only a short drive from either town. The city is set on 12.2 square miles of land on which there are more than 1,400 acres of park land, and the town has access to 11 lakes. The school district receives high marks, making this community a popular one for people with children. The town boasts a 70,000-square foot community center, ten parks and over 10,000 housing units, some of which are rentals. Located in Ramsey County, Shoreview is the 33rd largest city in the state, yet it still retains small-town charm. The atmosphere is alluring and it’s just right for those looking for a place to raise a family or find a quiet community that has nature as a centerpiece.
