Is getting around easy in Tampa?

April 25, 2012 | 0 Comments

If you are searching for an area that is easy to navigate in Florida, rent apartments in the Tampa area. If you drive, you will find that the city is easier to navigate than many large U.S. cities. Because of its size, Tampa is just big enough to have a good network of roadways, but not so large that traffic congestion is much of a problem. Since the weather is so nice for much of the year, walking is also a good option if you live close to where you work, or if your apartment is in an area with good access to stores and restaurants.

Public transportation here is reliable as well. The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) operates the bus system, along with trolleys, vanpools and park and ride services. There are plenty of choices for those who do not want to own a car in the Tampa area. There may be even more options in the future—discussions are currently underway to determine the feasibility of a light rail system for Hillsbourough County. In addition, Tampa International Airport connects the city with destinations outside the immediate area.
