Approximately 12,000 people live in the downtown Saint Paul area. Some of the individual neighborhoods include Irvine Park, Saint Anthony West and Upper Landing. Living in the downtown section of the city means that you can keep transportation simple; this is especially true if you also work there. If you need to commute to another area, there are numerous Minnesota rentals that can accommodate you, depending on where you need to commute. If you work farther east, Woodbury may be a good place to look for an apartment. Those commuting to the south may have an easier time of things if they set up a home base in Inver Grove Heights. Arden Hills is north of both Saint Paul and Minneapolis, so it’s a smart place to live if you need to work in that area and want to avoid traffic. If you already know where you will be working, finding the right place to rent is not a problem in the Saint Paul region.
