Regardless of whether you are looking for apartments for rent in Kennewick, Pasco, or Richland, it is helpful to know a little bit about each of the Tri-Cities. After all, living in one means you have access to all three.

Here is a brief snapshot of each of these communities:

  1. Kennnewick. The biggest of the three cities, Kennewick is twenty-five square miles. This town has terrific shopping and is known as the retail hub of the area. It is also the home of Columbia Park, a very popular outdoor recreation spot.
  2. Pasco. This town is the transportation hub, and it has a large number of sports-related recreation facilities.
  3. Richland. Arts and culture are all the rage in this city, which is also home to a number of wineries and antique shops.

All three of the Tri-Cities have similar access to natural areas, and the towns themselves are well-developed and charming. The region is often referred to as the "Heart of Washington Wine Country", since the towns house over 160 wineries among them. West Richland is also located in this area; this town has a residential feel and offers a sports complex and a fun summer concert series.
