What are some of the places to live west of Baltimore?

The western area of Baltimore includes the towns of Midtown-Edmonson, Easterwood, Harlem Park and Evergreen Lawn. Highlights of this area include Coppin State University and Carver Vocational High School. Although apartments in Baltimore County West are plentiful, many people opt to move out to the suburbs and away from downtown. Suburbs west of Baltimore tend to be unincorporated and most have great access to the city center.

Some towns to look into are Cantonsville and Woodlawn. Cantonsville is a nice community with a population of around 40,000 people. Patapsco Valley State Park is nearby, which means plenty of nature and the ability to get away without going too far from home. Woodlawn and Cantonsville are both next to I-695, which means that getting around is not a problem. Other communities in this area include Arbutus, Randallstown and Lansdowne. As with most of the suburbs, commuting from the west to downtown Baltimore is quick and easy, making Baltimore County West a convenient place to rent.
