Although Napa Valley is known for its wine, there are many other reasons you might want to look for apartments in Napa County. The rolling hills and beautiful climate make it a scenic spot, and the amenities are such that you can really live in comfort. This area is a popular tourist destination, and with good reason. American Canyon is one example of a lovely town in this area. Located 35 miles northeast of San Francisco, this city has been called "The Gateway to Napa Valley."

Spas, restaurants and wineries are popular in this region, making it a great place to rent an apartment if you enjoy relaxation at its finest. Golf and shopping for antiques are other popular activities in the area, and the arts scene here is rich as well. Calistoga, Napa and Yountville are three major cities in the region and they each offer their own unique atmosphere. There are also some outlying areas that you may want to investigate, including Pope Valley, Angwin and Lake Berryessa. This is a highly desirable place to live, so apartments here may be more expensive than in other cities in the region, but the benefits to living in Napa Valley are many. It truly is a beautiful place.
