What are some towns in southwest Florida?

If you are searching for apartments in south Florida, you may want to check out the west coast. The Tampa Bay area lies on the west-central coast, and some cities here include Spring Hill and Largo. Going down the coast, you then have places such as Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Cape Coral and Fort Myers, all of which can make great places to live in southwest Florida. Beautiful Everglades National Park is within a short drive of most of these towns, and it is one of the state’s most famous parks.

Lake Okeechobee is in this region as well—more toward the center of the state. Still, it is within a short drive for most residents in the area. Recreational opportunities abound here, and it makes a great inland escape for those looking to get away. Miami, although located on the southeast coast, is still within a reasonable drive for many people in southwest Florida. There is always plenty going on in this big city, and it makes a great day trip. Southwest Florida has a climate that is almost tropical, so if you love to be outdoors, it may be the perfect place to look for a rental property.
