If you are searching for apartments in northeast suburbs of Detroit such as New Baltimore, Utica or Romeo, there is plenty to see. Romeo is a little bit off the grid, but not so far that you can’t get to downtown Detroit in a short amount of time. This town offers residents a quaint park, a cultural center and two museums. New Baltimore is also located in this section of Macomb County and it runs along Anchor Bay which is located on the coast of Lake St. Clair. The population of this small town is around 11,000 and it is about 30 minutes from Detroit.

Utica is another city located in Macomb County and it is about 12 miles from Detroit. There are just over 4,500 people in this town and it has a great deal of appeal. Walking paths, parks and specialty shops are part of what give this city a unique feel. Add to that the fact that the town is located on the banks of the Clinton River and it all adds up to a nice place to find rental property. All of these cities are within a reasonable drive of downtown Detroit, so any one of them would make a good home base for those looking to get an apartment in this region.
