What are some towns located to the southeast of Indianapolis?

Not everyone enjoys living in an area that has an urban feel. If you prefer something a bit more out of the city, apartments in southeast Indianapolis areas such as Beech Grove and Wanamaker may have more appeal. Wanamaker is a small town, but it is located right next to I-74, making it ideal for commuters who don’t want to rent an apartment in the city. Since it isn’t far from downtown, driving to and from work is not a bad choice if you enjoy this town’s atmosphere. The location is what makes this town such a great place to look for rentals.

Beech Grove is even closer to the city and it offers another alternative to downtown living. With approximately 15,000 residents, this town has been around for over 100 years–and with that comes a real sense of pride in the community. The city has excellent schools and a very nice library, and it can provide that residential feel for those searching for something that feels like home. The area is also served by the IndyGo public transportation system, which means that bus routes operate in town. This is a good perk for those who are without a vehicle.
