What are some towns to the northeast of Indianapolis?

If you enjoy all of the amenities that can be had downtown, but aren’t interested in city living, apartments in northeast Indianapolis areas such as Fishers or Castleton may be more appealing in terms of rental property. Both of these towns are very close to the city center and they each offer an atmosphere that is more suburban than urban. Castleton is the smaller of the two, and it is also located closer to Indianapolis, so it may make a better choice for those who commute downtown for work. Lawrence is another town that is very close to the city center.

Fishers isn’t too far for commuters either, being only about a twenty minute drive from Indianapolis. With a population of over 52,000 people, this town is still big enough to have amenities of its own. Fishers is also a rapidly growing community, and this means the housing continues to expand–including rental properties. The town is also known for having an excellent school system. If none of these towns seem to work for you, there are also some other cities that you can consider in the area such as Pendleton, Fortville and Noblesville.
