If you’re a lover of nature and outdoor activities, the apartments South Sound Washington has to offer will give you access to beautiful natural parks, and you will still be living mere miles from the cities of Tacoma and Olympia.

Capitol State Forest - Located in Thurston and Gray Harbor Counties, the forest is only a few miles from Tacoma. Capitol State Forest is still an active logging site but is open to the public for many activities and outdoor sports, including off-road motorcycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking.

Woodard Bay Natural Resources Conservation Area - This area is home to some of America’s most beautiful wildlife, including harbor seals, bald eagles, river otters, and blue herons. It is only a few miles from Olympia.

Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve - Just south of Olympia lie South Puget Sound’s prairies, where winding paths twist around the unusual Mima Mounds. These mounds are small, strangely uniform hills carved by long-ago glaciers. Visit in May and early June to walk among the prairie’s beautiful blooming wildflowers.
