What is Arlington County like?

Arlington County, home to 210,000 people, takes up about 26 square miles. Part of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, it is just across the Potomac River from the nation’s capital. Apartments in Arlington County are desirable due to the amenities in the area, along with the easy access to DC. The region is a mix of residential and commercial properties. Some neighborhoods to check out include Rosslyn, Crystal City, Virginia Square and Pentagon City.

Those who enjoy the outdoors will enjoy the approximately 200 parks and playgrounds in this area. In addition to that, there are 86 miles of biking/jogging trails. Round that out with other amenities, such as over 500 restaurants, 14 community centers and nine live theaters, and you have a county that has much to offer. Home to landmarks such as the Arlington National Cemetery and Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima), the county also holds a sense of our nation’s history.
