Located just north of the I-695 beltway, this area has a number of smaller, unincorporated areas that can make great places to live just outside downtown Baltimore. Other spots to check out in this region include Sparks, Timonium, Lutherville and Towson. Like other areas around Baltimore, traveling to the city is not difficult, so it can be a good spot for commuters.

Towson is a great place to search for rental properties north of Baltimore. If you are the type of person that prefers more of a community rather than a big city, this area may be a great fit for you.
