What is Chandler like?

April 25, 2012 | 0 Comments

Chandler is a Phoenix-area city with a population of over 250,000 residents, and it is a great place to live. The city is spread over 70 square miles and it has 53 parks. If you are looking for apartments or condos, Phoenix is a good place to start, but Chandler offers big-city charm along with a less urban feel. You can still be close to the downtown area, as it is only 19 miles away, and it isn’t too far from Tucson either. Interstate 10 and Price-loop 101 are both nearby, offering easy access to other areas. This town plays host to some unusual festivals each year. The Chandler Ostrich Festival takes place every March, and it draws over 200,000 people who come to enjoy the entertainment and the ostrich races. Other festivals include the Cotton Festival, Greek Festival and the Jazz Fest. Also, the Chandler Center for the Arts has live performances throughout the year. There is much to do in this town, and plenty of rental properties available.
