What is Charlotte like?

With a population of 700,000, Charlotte, also known as "The Queen City," is the largest city in North Carolina and the 20th largest in the nation. Even though it has a large urban area, there are also numerous suburban regions that offer easy access to the city and its amenities. If you’re looking for an apartment, Charlotte has plenty of different places to investigate. With mountains and ocean nearby, this region of the state is a beautiful place to live. Charlotte’s climate is moderate and the city misses much of the severe weather that is sometimes seen along the coast in this area. With a below-average cost of living and good housing options for renters, this big city makes a great home. There are 6.9 million residents within 100 miles of Charlotte, so anything you need is right there for the taking.
