Even if you live in the downtown area of Minneapolis, you are within six blocks of a park. If you work in the area, the commute is a breeze, and once you find the right apartment, Minneapolis is a very easy city to navigate without a car. Think about your priorities and choose something that will make traveling easy. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the heart of the city, perhaps you should consider an apartment downtown. If you know you will be going to a particular area for work, take a look in that region as well. St. Louis Park might make sense if you want to be outside the main city area but still have easy access to the amenities on the weekend. Plymouth could be just the right spot for those who work to the north of the city. The network of roads and highways make getting from one town to another an easy task, but setting up in an area close to where you will be spending most of your time can save you both time and aggravation.
