What is Dallas like?

As of 2004, the Census Bureau estimated the population of Dallas at 1,210,390. It is the 9th largest city in the nation and it has all the benefits that go along with size. With over 400 parks, 24 public library branches and a vast array of dining, entertainment, shopping and more, this Texas town is a great place to look if you are searching for a place to live. There are plenty of Dallas apartments to be had; the difficult part is deciding where in the city you would like to live.

The region also offers many other options in smaller towns, such as Wilmer, Lewisville and Hurst. Looking outside the downtown area may be more appealing for those who enjoy all the perks of a big city but prefer a more suburban atmosphere. If that is the case, there are many places dotted around the Dallas area that may have the perfect combination of proximity to the city and small town charm.
