What is Dayton like?

Dayton is located in Montgomery County in the state of Ohio and is considered the birthplace of aviation. Wilbur and Orville Wright began their journey to the skies here, and today the town still has many attractions that are geared toward those who are fascinated with flight. The Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park has four sights that pay tribute to the Wright Brothers, and the National Museum of the United States Air Force has more than 300 airplanes and missiles on display. Dining, culture and entertainment are also hallmarks of this Ohio city. Those looking for homes or apartments in Dayton will be pleased at all there is to do and see here. While not as large as Cincinnati, the city is still a decent size with a population of approximately 160,000 people living in an area of 55.7 square miles. The downtown and surrounding suburbs offer residents many amenities, and its central location and good transportation make it easy to get just about anywhere from Dayton. There are also many educational opportunities in the area.
