April 25, 2012 | 0 Comments

The city of Edmond is part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area in the central part of the state. The quaint, historic downtown area helped Edmond earn two memorable awards: “Relocate America” put it on the list of the “Top 100 places to Live in 2007,” and Universal Publications of New York dubbed it “America’s best small town.”

Six golf courses can be found here, including the prestigious Oak Tree National course, which has hosted several major PGA, USGA and senior championships. Over a dozen parks also dot the landscape, as well as Arcadia Lake, one of the best outdoor recreation spots in central Oklahoma. Arcadia Lake is outstanding for camping, fishing, water skiing and hiking.

Edmond is connected to downtown by two major highways, US Route 77 and Interstate 37, which makes the commute easy for those living in Edmond apartments . Units may be found for $450-$650 and up for a single bedroom, $750 and up for two bedrooms.
