Jackson is located south of Lansing and is the perfect place to experience the outdoors. With a population of just over 36,000 people, it has the amenities of a bigger city combined with a community feel. There is a historic district that has over 300 homes in a 15-block section, and there are plenty of apartments in Jackson as well.
