What is Laguna Niguel like?

Laguna Niguel is a city of approximately 64,000 people, and it is located in Orange County. Nearby cities include Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, and Mission Viejo, among others. Laguna Niguel apartments offer more of a natural appeal than some of the larger towns around, which can make it a perfect spot for those who enjoy that type of atmosphere. A planned community, over a third of the town has been reserved as open space. Some of the amenities here that have been created with this in mind include:

  • 2 community parks
  • 23 neighborhood parks
  • 3 "mini" parks
  • 2 regional parks
  • 1 dog park
  • 2 county parks
  • The Laguna Niguel Skate & Soccer Park

The Niguel Botanical Preserve is also located here. An 18-acre facility, it is within Crown Valley Community Park and it has walking trails that take you through plantings from all over the world. Laguna Niguel is a terrific spot to live for those who appreciate nature and want somewhere to live with a green philosophy.
