What is Martin County like?

Martin County, Florida is located just north of Palm Beach on the eastern side of the state. This area is not as built up as many others in the region and because of that it has more of a "small town" appeal. Here you will find cities like Stuart, the "Sailfish Capital of the World." Stuart has everything from waterfront dining to juried art festivals, but without huge crowds and big city traffic. Located on the Okeechobee Waterway, it is a beautiful town. If you are looking for apartments in Martin County, Stuart can be a great place to begin your search.

Another waterfront town in the region is Palm City. Bordered by the St. Lucie River, this small town boasts waterfront parks of its own–as well as world class golf courses. The West Palm Beach International Airport is under an hour from here as well, making travel convenient. In addition, Disney World and Sea World are about a two hour drive from Palm City. Martin County has some wonderful neighborhoods for those looking for a rental property, and this area of the state has a really nice atmosphere for those who appreciate smaller towns.
