What is Middletown like?

Located in Monmouth County, Middletown, NJ is a good place to look for rental properties. With a population of 67,000 people, the township is a nice size, and it really has maintained a community feel. Residents here can enjoy some time outdoors at one of the 48 parks in the area, and there are several bodies of water within a short drive as well. Some of the parks have basketball or tennis courts and there are also playgrounds, picnic areas and athletic fields in the region. The Middletown Arts Center offers classes in everything from dance to stained glass, and they also host a variety of events and performances.

Middletown is located away from the coast, but it is near several major roadways, such as I-80 and I-287. This means getting around in the region is not a problem. Nearby cities include Boonton, Rockaway and Morristown. If you prefer an area that is more of a community than a city, this region of the state may be for you. Middletown and the surrounding cities offer good access to other areas, but also provide their residents with good services and amenities at home.
