What is Muncie like?

The city of Muncie, Indiana is located to the northwest of Indianapolis. With a population of 68,000 people, this town has a lot to offer. If you want to live in an area that is still a decent-sized city with good access to Indianapolis, apartments in Muncie area are worth considering. Ball State University is located here, and it has a student population of about 18,000 people. This adds a unique flavor to the town, as well as plenty of energy. Indiana Business College and Ivy Tech Community College are also located in Muncie.

There are plenty of parks in this city, such as Aultshire Park, which has a playground for kids, and Cowing Park, which features tennis and basketball courts. The Northwest Plaza Shopping Center and Simon Muncie Mall are good spots to search out deals, and downtown Muncie boasts a variety of restaurants and stores. There are also places to take in a show or a movie, and plenty of cultural opportunities available in the area. Indianapolis is about an hour away, so living in Muncie gives residents access to all of the big-city amenities there as well.
