What is Port Orange like?

Port Orange is a wonderful place to live if you are looking for something other than an Orlando rental. Located just to the south of Daytona Beach and to the north of Titusville, this ocean-side community has a lot to offer those who are searching for an apartment. With a population of just over 57,000 people, this mid-sized town is the perfect spot to settle in and enjoy Florida’s coastline. Situated close to both I-4 and I-95, getting elsewhere in the region is an easy task if you want to get away and explore central Florida. There are also 32 miles of bike paths right in the area if hanging around the city is more your speed.

Almost 18% of the housing here is rental property and the average rents go for between $480 and $880, making it a reasonable place to live in terms of cities that are located near the ocean. There are 18 parks in town, offering over 1,000 acres of land for public use. A waterfront park and boat launch are also provided for residents in the area. Besides that, there are numerous tennis courts, ball fields, basketball courts and other recreational facilities available in town. With reasonable rents and plenty to do, Port Orange is a great place to live.
