What is Rochester like?

Charming and scenic, Rochester is a great place to search for Michigan rentals if you’re looking for a community with a real hometown feel. The downtown area stands out from the crowd in Oakland County with over 200 specialty stores, salons and restaurants to explore and experience. The feel is a bit upscale here and it is a fun place to browse. Diners can find nearly anything their heart desires here as there are a multitude of different options from which to choose. The Village of Rochester Hills offers yet more shopping and dining just next door.

There is also plenty of nature to experience in the Rochester area. There are seven municipal parks and the 8.5 mile Paint Creek Trail provides a place for hikers and bikers to wander off and cultivate their sense of wonder without traveling too far away from home. Auburn Hills is just a short distance from here as well and there is more to see and do in towns in the nearby area. Since Detroit is in close proximity, Rochester can be a smart spot to look for rentals in the region. Living in this city gives you a chance to have it all—small town charm and a big city nearby.
