If you want to be in the area east of San Antonio, you might want to look at apartments in Seguin. After all, being outside the urban area can have its rewards. Just 30 minutes from San Antonio and 50 miles from Austin, this town is all about the convenient location. Close to two large Texas cities, you can have all the fun without all the crowds. One of the oldest cities in the state, the charm of Seguin is undeniable. It has everything that you could want in a small town.

The city is located near the Guadalupe River, and the town has planned well, taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings by building a park there for the residents to enjoy. Max Starke Park has an 18-hole golf course, a wave pool, tennis and basketball courts and the "Kids Kingdom Playscape." In addition to amenities such as this, the city also holds "Trade Days" in the downtown area four times each year. These events draw 90 to 100 vendors from all over who come to sell their arts, food, crafts and clothing. For a smaller town there is a lot going on, and if you get the itch to go to one of the larger cities, all you have to do is hop in the car and take a ride.
