Brighton and Howell are located between Ann Arbor and Flint, Michigan. Both places can be a good place to search for a rental property if you are looking to live in an area that has easy access to the surrounding big cities—such as Lansing and Detroit. Brighton is near both U.S.-23 and I-96, and it is only 45 miles west of Detroit and Lansing. With a population of just over 7,500 people, it has a good deal of small-town appeal without sacrificing amenities such as shopping and dining. Downtown Brighton is a great place to spend the afternoon.

Howell is in the same general area. Slightly larger than Brighton with a population approaching 10,000 people, this city is a pretty one with a lot of community appeal. Residents can enjoy the many events that take place in town, such as the Howell Fantasy of Lights Parade, the Howell Melon Festival and the Michigan Challenge Balloon Festival. If you are searching for towns in Michigan that would make great places to live, apartments in Brighton/Howell are a good choice. The neighborhood appeal of these two cities makes either one a charming place to rent.
